Description	:	Lillie Maude Parks of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and formerly of Aberdeen, died Aug. 13 in Ft. Pierce. She was 85. Born in Helton, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Lula Peak Testerman and wife of the late Vance Parks. She is survived by two sons, Ernest Vance Parks of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and David Parks of Aberdeen; three daughters, Lillie P. Curry, Hattie Jo Parks and Jessie Mae Cox, all of Ft. Pierce. She was 85. Born in Helton, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Lula Peak Testerman and wife of the late Vance Parks. She is survived by two sons, Ernest Vance Parks of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and David Parks of Aberdeen; three daughters, Lillie P. Curry, Hattie Jo Parks and Jessie Mae Cox, all of Ft. Pierce; two brothers, Coy Testerman and Hewey Testerman, both of Crumpler, N.C.; two sisters, Ada Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio, and Verna Curry of Cockeysville; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Dewey, Millard, Pete, David and Thurman Testerman and Mammie Sullins. Services were held Monday at Hickory Baptist Church with the Rev. Willard Dixon officiating. Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were John R. Jones, Gary R. Testerman, Danny R. Parks, Henry Easter Jr., Pete Testerman, Jr., Billy R. Parks, the Rev. Archie Hamm and Sam Goldberg. Published in The Aegis; Wed., Aug. 20, 1997.
