Report Tells the Story After running seven flocks to catch a Union Pacific passenger train at David City late Tuesday afternoon, Lincoln L. Lott of Rising City, fell dead in the depot immediately upon purchasing a ticket to his home. His wife and daughter were with him and are said to be prostrated by his sudden death. Mr. Lott was 55 years old and according to Union Pacific Surgeon Burdrick, whose report was received at Omaha headquarters yesterday was suffering from health trouble, which brought about the tragedy. Cororner Thompson took charge of the body. The dead man was one of the best known residents of Rising City and with his family had been visiting at David City. He saw the train approaching and ran at full speed to purchase tickets, his wife and daughter following as fast as they could. He collapsed without a word.
