Description	:	Linda Jo Lum, 60 years of age, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Holdrege Memorial Homes in Holdrege. Linda was born February 27, 1951 in York, Nebraska the oldest of three children to Dr. Robert and JoAnn (Weber) Harry. Linda graduated from York High School with the Class of 1969. Linda pursued high education from Hastings College graduating in 1973. She started teaching in Scottsbluff, following graduation. Linda married Larry Lum on August 2, 1980 in Holdrege and to this union two children were born: Jenny and Michael. Linda taught in the Holdrege Public School system for 32 years... Linda was born February 27, 1951 in York, Nebraska the oldest of three children to Dr. Robert and JoAnn (Weber) Harry. Linda graduated from York High School with the Class of 1969. Linda pursued high education from Hastings College graduating in 1973. She started teaching in Scottsbluff, following graduation. Linda married Larry Lum on August 2, 1980 in Holdrege and to this union two children were born: Jenny and Michael. Linda taught in the Holdrege Public School system for 32 years prior to retirement in May 2011. Linda was a member of the Holdrege First Presbyterian Church. Linda enjoyed singing in the Holdrege Presbyterian Church Choir. As a child, she and her brother helped their father pump the organ while he played. The family also enjoyed decorating for Christmas, both inside and outside the house. Linda and Larry enjoyed attending Nebraska Husker games together. They attended the Holiday Bowl in 2009 in San Diego with her sister Jean and Gary Lynn. Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, Dr. Robert Harry, Sr., and brother-in-law, Dale Bruggeman. Linda leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Larry of Holdrege, daughter, Jenny Stachura and her husband, Chad of Lincoln, NE and son, Michael Lum and his fiancé, Sara Hieb of Lincoln, mother, JoAnn Harry of York, Nebraska, brother, John Harry of Utica, NE, sister, Jean Lynn and her husband Gary of Omaha, NE, half-sister, Kathy Bruggeman of Lincoln, NE, half-brother, Dr. Robert Harry, Jr, and his wife, MaryAnn of Denver, Colorado sister-in-law, Claudette Schmidt and her husband Don of Scottsbluff, NE, aunts, Ellen Weber of McCool Junction, NE, and Natalie Weber of Castle Rock, CO, uncle, Leland Bills of York, NE. and a host of relatives and friends. Interment was in Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, NE.
