Description	:	Linda L. Kranz, age 61, of Canton, SD, formerly of Watertown, SD, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Sanford Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD. She was the widow of Roland Kranz. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Rev. Janet Miller will officiate. After graduating from Henry High School, she moved to Watertown and worked for Minnesota Rubber. On June 19, 1993, Linda married Roland Kranz in Watertown, SD. The couple continued to live in Watertown. Linda moved to Canton, SD, in 1999, where she purchased the Gateway Motel. She continued to own and operate the motel until her death. She enjoyed shopping and spoiling her grandkids. Family meals were important to her. Linda was always very fun and outgoing. Linda is survived by her children, one son, Lonnie Swanson, and his fiancé, Kristi Stormo, of Watertown, SD, and one daughter, Tamara (Kevin) Tipton, of Canton, SD; three stepchildren: Paul Kranz, Mark (Sally) Kranz and Kay (Jason) Woods, all of Watertown, SD; four grandchildren: Darian Stiner, Briar Tipton, Irelynn Tipton and Matilyn Tipton; and two great-grandchildren, Kolton Stiner and Kendyll Stiner. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Ronnie Swanson, and one sister, Sherry Guest.
