Description	:	Linda Hensing, 77, of Iowa Falls, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Scenic Manor. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls. She will be laid to rest with a private family burial at the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the church. Per Linda's wishes, a brunch will follow the service at Bethany Lutheran Church. Linda was born on April 8, 1941 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Earl and Faye (Costello) Whitman. She graduated from Iowa Falls High School with the class of 1959. Linda was united in marriage to John Hensing. Together they raised three children: David, Jane and Daniel. Linda worked for Iowa Falls Public Schools for fourteen years. Linda always remained active in the community. Throughout the years she had also been employed as a telephone operator, high school secretary, middle school secretary, public library assistant, community nursery school teacher and a receptionist at High, Bowden and Stockdale Law Firm. She enjoyed having coffee with friends, listening to the police/fire scanner, playing 500 cards, sewing for granddaughters and crocheting. Linda was a member of Friends of Library, Etude Club, Ellsworth Hospital Auxiliary and Bethany Lutheran Church. Linda Hensing is survived by her children, David (Jane) Hensing of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Jane (Mark) Caballero of Rolla, Missouri and Dan Hensing of Waterloo, Iowa; grandchildren: Katie (Alf) Cobb, Joseph (Whitney) Hensing, Briten Caballero, Chelsey Caballero, Hanna Hensing and Molly Hensing; great grandchildren, Eli and Maren Cobb and other survivors: Art and Pat Hensing, Andrew Hensing and Jill Olind. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Faye Whitman; her husband, John Hensing and her mother and father in-law, Bert and Beulah Hensing.
