Description	:	LINDA PEDIGO FINSTERWALD of Orlando and Colorado Springs, CO died at Penrose Hospital- she was the daughter of Dr Rudolph and Mary Pedigo. She graduated from Ohio University with a BA in education and taught speech and hearing therapy in the Norwood, OH school system. Linda married Dow Henry Finsterwald 11/21/1953 in Dillon, SC and spent their honeymoon at a golf tournament while Dow was on leave from the Air Force. They moved to Colorado Springs when Dow became the Director of Golf at the Broadmoor Hotel. Penrose Hospital successfully treated Linda for two forms of cancer, esophageal and breast. The support of family and friends helped her defeat this disease. Preceded in death by her brother, Roger Pedigo Tintle of Athens, OH and infant son, Michael, surviving are her husband, Dow Henry Finsterwald, children, John (Kathy), Jane (twin of John), Dow, Jr (Loni), Russell (Carol; grandchildren, Michael, Katie Ann Pudlo, Dow, III (Trey), Russell and James, great-grandchildren, Caleb, Connor, Sydnie, Addison and Avery and sister Mary Pedigo Tintle of Atlanta, GA. A Memorial Service will be held June 22, 2015 at the Cheyenne Mountain Lodge in Colorado Springs, CO. Published in the Orlando Sentinel June 17, 2015.
