Description	:	Funeral services for Linden Elliott will be held this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Kenmare with Rev. Stan Rosengren officiating. Mr. Elliott, age 65, died Sunday in a Minot hospital where he had been a patient for some time. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with Sorensen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Theodore Knutson, T. W. Gafleger, Kenneth Routledge, L. E. Christensen, Vernon McBride, and E. C. Larson. Mert Coughlin will be vocalist and Mrs. Marvin Gravesen is organist. Linden David Elliott was born July 21, 1905 at Bellflower, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Elliott. He moved here with his parents as a small boy and was reared and lived in the Kenmare community since. He married Thelma Knutson at Bowbells on November 28, 1931. Mr. Elliott worked for the Miner Dray Line a number of years prior to purchasing it in the early 1940’s. He operated the Effiott Dray Line until the late 1950’s when he sold it for health reasons to Foster Ankenbauer. Mr. Elliott was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church and was active in community affairs, serving as Boy Scout Scout master and Chief of the Kenmare Fire Department. He is survived by his wife Thelma, two sons, James of Santa Maria, Calif., and Kenneth of Farmington, New Mexico, and five grandchildren, a brother Thomas and a sister Margaret Welsch.
