He was born in Augusta on June 26, 1928, the son of Napoleon Breton and Emma (Landry) Breton. Lionel served honorably in the Army during the Korean War. He was born in Augusta on June 26, 1928, the son of Napoleon Breton and Emma (Landry) Breton. Lionel served honorably in the Army during the Korean War. Lionel was employed by Leland Perkins Paving and B & S Paving for many years. He previously was owner and operator of Jim's Variety on Northern Ave. in Augusta for several years. His parents preceded him in death, as well as his first wife, Mildred (Green) Breton, a sister, Regina Bouchard and a brother, Adjutor Breton. Surviving is his wife, Theresa (Robinson) Breton of Augusta; six step-sons; 21 grandchildren, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. Committal prayers will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16 in the Chapel at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta. (Morning Sentinel 1/12/2007)
