Description	:	Lisa Suzanne Kuta, 52, of Columbus, Nebraska, passed away Saturday May 25th, 2013 at her home, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Lisa bravely battled cancer for the last two years, never giving up hope, always keeping a smile on her face and always making sure everyone around her was happy and laughing. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Gass Haney Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at the church with a family prayer service at 10:15 A.M. Lisa was born August 9th, 1960 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Stanley and Dorothy (Leffers) Settje. She attended Zion Lutheran Grade School in Leigh, Nebraska and graduated from Leigh High School in 1978. Lisa married Kurt Everett on May 16th, 1981. Together they had two daughters, Miranda and Brenda. Lisa worked for First National Bank in Columbus for many years, where she made many dear friends. She finished her career at the bank as the teller manager. Lisa was united in marriage on June 25th, 2004 to Alan Kuta. Lisa had a passion for flowers and enjoyed her flower garden. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, and loved the company of her numerous friends. She loved traveling, especially to Colorado and also taking trips on Alan's motorcycle. She was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church.
