Read More	From the Kennebec Journal, Dated February 14, 1913 Death of Llewellyn Jackson--Acute Indigestion and Exposure. (Augusta, Maine) Llewellyn Jackson, aged 62 years, of 69 Green Street, died early Thursday evening, from acute indigestion and exposure. Mr. Jackson was a team master at the Insane hospital. He ate his supper as usual and left to take the electric (car) leaving Water street at 5:30 P.M., to visit his son Levi, who lives on the Lynn place, near Leavitt's crossing. When the car reached the station on Hospital street, The motorman, Thomas Jones, saw a man lying on the ground, north of the station. He stop the car and notified the Conductor L.J. Scott and they picked up and placed the man on the station platform. Several persons left the car at this point, some evidently being acquainted with Mr. Jackson. The electric (car) processed to the Cony road and attempted to phone into the city, but could not make connections and the crew proceeded to Togus, from which they sent word of the sick man. In the meantime, Mr. Jackson, who was alive when discovered, lay on the station platform, in the intensive cold and without attention. Coroner Frank Hewins and City Physician McKay were notified about 6:30 and proceeded directly to the scene, but found Mr. Jackson dead. The remains were taken to Knowlton & Hewins morgue and the relatives notified. Coroner Hewins, after careful inquiry, decided upon the cause of death as stated and inquest unnecessary. The funeral arrangement will be announced later. Mr. Jackson came from South China, about three years ago. A widow Ella, three daughters, Dora, Ella and Beulah, two sons, Levi and Maurice, all of the city (Augusta, Maine), and an brother and sister, Charles and Julie Runnels of South China, survive. He also lived in Weeks Mills and was a farmer.
