Description	:	Lloyd H. Johnson 99 of Lewistown died Sunday night, May 6th, 2012 in the Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes. He was born January 26, 1913 in Lewistown the son of Martin and Caroline (Hogeland) Johnson. He received his education in Lewistown graduating from Fergus County High School in 1937. He worked on a ranch on the Judith River one summer... Read More	Lloyd H. Johnson 99 of Lewistown died Sunday night, May 6th, 2012 in the Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes. He was born January 26, 1913 in Lewistown the son of Martin and Caroline (Hogeland) Johnson. He received his education in Lewistown graduating from Fergus County High School in 1937. He attended college for one year and the worked for the CCC's in Idaho returning to Lewistown in 1939. On December 26, 1939 he was united in marriage to Nelda Harmon in Lewistown. He worked on a ranch on the Judith River one summer and then for US Gypsum at Heath for 3 years. In 1943 he became a Police Officer for the Lewistown Police Department working 7 years and then a Deputy Sheriff for Fergus County for 5 years. In 1955 he became the Juvenile Probation Officer for Lewistown and the surrounding area until 1970 when they moved to Anaconda and he worked for the Job Corp Center for 13 years. He retired and they returned to Lewistown. In 1990 he was elected Mayor for the City of Lewistown serving one 4 years term. Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with family and friends. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Eagles Lodge and the Fergus County Council on Aging. He is survived by three sons; three daughters; one brother; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Nelda in 2007, one granddaughter JaNeill, two brothers, four sisters and his parents. ______________________________________ Lloyd H. Johnson, 99, of Lewistown, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with family and friends, died of natural causes Sunday, May 6th, at Central Montana Medical Center. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, in the Cloyd Chapel with inurnment following in Lewistown City Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Cloyd Funeral Home & Cremation Service is handling arrangements. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda; and one granddaughter. He is survived by three sons; three daughters; a brother; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
