Read More	LLOYD MELVIN ROBBINS, 85 Lloyd Melvin Robbins, 85, of Centerville, died Saturday June 2, 2001, at Reid Hospital in Richmond. Born Jan. 28, 1916, in Rush County, he was the son of D. Nelson and Lola (Wilhelm) Robbins, both deceased. He married Margaret B Dixon on April 6, 1940; she survives. Mr. Robbins was a graduate of Laurel High School. He was a veteran of the U S Army, having served in World War II. He had been a resident of Centerville since 1955. He retired as a salesman for Moorman Manufacturing Feed Co. in 1978. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Richmond, where he had been a Sunday school teacher and board member. Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, the Rev. Paul A. Robbins (and wife Patricia) of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada; one daughter, Janet S (Brian) Warner of Upland; four sisters, Wanda Ruble of Clarksburg, Murba Ruble of Franklin, KY, and Ruth Fletcher and Rosemary Spurgin, both of Greensburg; three brothers, Donald Robbins of Greensburg, Robert and Eugene Robbins, both of Rushville; four grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p m. Thursday at First Church of the Nazarene in Richmond, with the Rev. Paul a Robbins, the Rev. Brian M Warner, the Rev. J. Mark Hinshaw, and the Rev. Robert N. Malone officiating. Doan and Mills Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
