Mr. Nelson, husband of the late Dorothy Elizabeth Nelson, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Born in Blaney, he was the son of the late Logan and Bernice Jeffers Nelson. He retired from Goff Feed and Seed and was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his step-daughters, Marie Mays of Camden, Debra Galloway (Russ) of Camden, Linda Young (Joe) of Camden; brother, Lindsey Nelson; sister, Ernestine Rabon; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Iian Nelson; sisters, Mae Nelson, Edith Horton and Bertha Goff; and brothers, Lonnie Nelson and Lehman Nelson. The family extends a special thanks to Abbey Road Hospice especially Greg Kyle his nurse, the nurses at Palmetto Health Richland ICU and Dr. Malloy for their loving care. ~~~~~
