Services were Monday afternon, Jan. 17, at the Presbyterian Church in Auburn with the Rev. Colletee Patton officiating. Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery in Auburn. Casket bearers were Larry Lasher, Dale Janssen, Dennis OTool. Corny Daiker, Bill Bruggeman, Lyle Schleisman and Norman Pudenz. Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City was In charge of arrangements. Born Sept. 9. 1914. at Wall Lake, he was a son of Harvey and Wobena (Carrels) Wright. He was married to Delores Aschinger at the Presbyterian parsonage in Wall Lake on Oct. 15, 1940. Mr. Wright Is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Mrs. Bob) Gross of Lake View; two sons, Merle Wright and his wife, Renee, of Lake City and James Wright and his friend, Cherrl, of Lake City, four grandchildren, Amy and Marcy Gross, and Heidi and Jeremy Wright; two step-grandchildren; and a sister, Norma (Mrs. Earl) Mlnser of Bonduel, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alice (Mrs. Fred) Schoneboom.
