Description	:	Boone County Democrat November 27, 1908 Logan Thomas, for many years a well known resident of this county died suddenly at his home, south of Ontario, Thursday of last week of heart trouble. The funeral services were held at 11:00 o'clock Tuesday morning from the Dunkard church near Napier, conducted by the Rev. West of Ankeny, burial in the cemetery there. He was born in Kansas, Dec. 13, 1870 and was almost thirty eight years old at the time of his death. Seven years ago he was united in marriage with Miss Florence Walker, of Colfax township. They resided for a few years in Dakota then returned to Boone County and bought a farm near the Story county line south of Ontario, where they have since resided. He is survived by his widow and two children, a girl six years old and a boy two years old. Two brothers, Lee and Charlie, came from Idaho for the funeral. The widow and family have the sincere sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
