Description	:	Lohre Adell Fisher, was born May 1, 1925, in Moorhead, Iowa to Charles and Clelia (Struble) Davis. She died on September 23, 2021, at the Lamoni Specialty Care Center in Lamoni, Iowa. She had been on Hospice for a few months, dying slowly of natural causes, when she contracted Covid-19 and passed in a few days. She was raised with an older sister, Elva Marie, in various towns in northwest Iowa, where her father was a railroader and her mother was a homemaker. She had been on Hospice for a few months, dying slowly of natural causes, when she contracted Covid-19 and passed in a few days. She was raised with an older sister, Elva Marie, in various towns in northwest Iowa, where her father was a railroader and her mother was a homemaker. After high school graduation, Lohre moved to Lamoni, Iowa to attend Graceland College with the plan to be a school teacher. Her plans changed when she met and married Garland Richard "Dick" Fisher in January of 1945. She became a mother of four daughters and one son by birth and one son by adoption. She and Dick raised all the children in Lamoni. Wife, mom, grandma, she wore many hats. Also, day care provider, foster parent, life long church member, and 50+ year Eastern Star member. Lohre was never at a lack for words and could hold conversations with four people at once! She lived in Crown Colony for a few years until her health dictated more care. She had no serious health issues and took no medications until 93 years old. She was an amazing woman who never slowed down and was always up for an adventure! Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Elva Marie, and her husband, Lewis Iosty; husband, Dick Fisher; daughters, Jean Ann Stevenson and Sandra Ogier; granddaughter, Danielle Boswell; and grandsons, Isaac Fisher and Scott Otey. Survivors include her daughters, Janice Fisher of Lamoni, Iowa and Donna Ogier and husband, Tony of Blythedale, Missouri; sons, Jim Fisher and wife, Charlene of Lamoni and John Fisher and wife, Olivia of Farmington, New Mexico; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; nine great, great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carol Lee Fisher; nieces and nephews; cousins; and other relatives and many friends.
