Lois passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Wakefield Care Center. Lois Ann Greve was born on May 29, 1938 at Wakefield, NE to Bernard and Margaret (Schearer) Kinney. She was baptized and confirmed at the Wakefield Presbyterian Church. Lois attended Wayne Co. Rural School District #1, graduated from Wakefield High School in 1955 and attended Wayne State College. During the summers while in college she worked at a resort in the Black Hills. On July 20, 1957, she was united in marriage to John Greve, Jr. at Worthington, MN. The couple farmed and raised their two sons north of Wisner. Lois was a Water Safety Instructor at the Wakefield pool for 20 years and also worked at several Wisner businesses. Lois was a member of the Wakefield Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed living on the farm, tending to her lawn and flowers and loved the company of her cat “Lucky”. Survivors include- Sons- Jeff and Donna Greve of Wisner, NE Joel Greve of South Sioux City, NE 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandsons Brother-Bill and Ann Kinney of Wayne, NE Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brother- Charlie Kinney."
