Description	:	Lois Ann Krough, daughter of Earnest and Lena (Pettiecord) Krough, was born November 4, 1953 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. She attended school at Emmetsburg Community School and later Horizons Unlimited. Lois moved to Sheldon where she lived at Village Northwest Unlimited. She worked at Village Northwest Enterprises. Lois loved music and was very active in the Village Northwest Singers. She enjoyed the tours they took singing in many communities. Read More	Lois Ann Krough, daughter of Earnest and Lena (Pettiecord) Krough, was born November 4, 1953 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. She attended school at Emmetsburg Community School and later Horizons Unlimited. Lois moved to Sheldon where she lived at Village Northwest Unlimited. She worked at Village Northwest Enterprises. Lois loved music and was very active in the Village Northwest Singers. She enjoyed the tours they took singing in many communities. Lois also enjoyed vacationing with her family especially her trip to Oklahoma where she was able to visit Toby Keith's bar and grill. She was a devoted fan of Toby Keith and Elvis. She also enjoyed participating in plays and held the lead role in one play. She enjoyed bowling with her friends in Sheldon. Lois lived twenty seven years at Village Northwest in Sheldon where she maintained her own apartment and lived an independent life. She was truly an inspiration to all who knew her in that whatever adversities life handed her she met them with a spirit of determination. Lois died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the Kavanagh House for Hospice Care in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 53. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Lena. She is survived by her brother, Donald Krough of Emmetsburg, IA; her sisters, Lynn Voigt and her husband, Charles of Altoona, IA and Lori Krough and friend, Barb Imoe of Oklahoma City, OK; her step mother, Vida Krough of Emmetsburg, IA; nieces and nephews, Lee and Cheryl Voigt, Amy and Jeff Morrison and Dena and Brian Bierstedt; great niece and nephews, Kaleb and Kendall Bierstedt and Cade Morrison; as well as other relatives and many friends.
