Description	:	Lois Somerville Ridout age 90, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the U of I Hospital, Iowa City following a brief illness. Lois Arlene Huffman was born August 29, 1926 at Anamosa, Iowa. She was the daughter of James and Bessie Wyrick, Huffman. Lois graduated from the Wyoming Community Schools in 1943. She married Robert Somerville on August 10, 1947 in Wyoming, Iowa. She was the daughter of James and Bessie Wyrick, Huffman. Lois graduated from the Wyoming Community Schools in 1943. She married Robert Somerville on August 10, 1947 in Wyoming, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1987. Lois was employed at Youthtown and Mickie’s Model Shop in Anamosa. She married Clayton Ridout May 16, of 1990. He would precede her in death in 2002. Lois was a member of the Anamosa United Methodist Church, and the Hospital Auxiliary. She was very family oriented. She was the Queen of Sarcasm. Her sarcastic quips did not stop at the hospital until she was unable to talk. Surviving are 3 children, Kevin Somerville, of Oxford, Keith (Joni) Somerville, Wyoming, Kay (Al) Strother, Anamosa, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Jean Sievers, Anamosa, Leah Oppedahl, Story City. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, Robert Somerville and Clayton Ridout, her son Kenney, a daughter-in-law, Mary. Funeral services will be held 11:00 Friday morning, October 21, 2016 at the United Methodist Church, Anamosa with interment in the Wyoming Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 at the church. Rev.
