Her funeral will be Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 10:30 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Revillo, SD with Pastor Kim Kanitz officiating. Burial will be at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetary, rural Albee. Visitation will be from 3-6 pm Friday, September 9, at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank, followed by a prayer service at St. John's Lutheran Church in Revillo at 7:30 p.m. Lois Augusta (Sackreiter) Boe was born October 26, 1926, to Walter and Irene (Weide) Sackreiter and grew up on the family farm south of Milbank. She was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Albee, SD. Lois graduated from Milbank High School in 1944. On September 19, 1949, Lois was united in marriage with Norman Boe at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Albee. They farmed side by side for many years, raising livestock, primarily dairy cattle, until selling their dairy herd in 1981. They continued to reside on their farm following retirement. Norman and Lois celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July 1999. Norman passed away November 27, 2001. Lois was involved with Ladies Aid, LWML, teaching Sunday School and VBS, and quilting for missions. She was active in the Gideons International Auxiliary.She traveled with Norman on missionary trips to Russia, Antigua and Chile. Survivors include son, Lowell; daughters: Grace Graf, Dianne Brenden and Mary Saeger; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mavis Kreutner; one sister-in-law, Anna Boe; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Norman and one sister Phyllis. Obituary courtesy of Mundweiler & Larson Funeral Home.
