She was born March 21, 1928 in Basil, Ohio the daughter of the late Albert and Blanche (Woodruff) Ballinger. She was a 1946 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and was retired from Anchor Hocking, Bremen where she was the sample glass cutter and worked as secretary in the office when needed for more than 30 years. Read More	Lois Christine Borah BREMEN: Lois Christine Borah, 88, of Bremen, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in her home in the company of family. She was born March 21, 1928 in Basil, Ohio the daughter of the late Albert and Blanche (Woodruff) Ballinger. She was a 1946 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and was retired from Anchor Hocking, Bremen where she was the sample glass cutter and worked as secretary in the office when needed for more than 30 years. Lois was an avid bowler for many years. She enjoyed boating, camping, and taking trips whenever possible with friends and family and spending time with her grandchildren. She lived life to the fullest and was a very caring and loving person. Lois is survived by her children, Lynn (Rick) McCandlish, Cindy (Ron) Cullumber and Pat Borah; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Borah in 2003; 3 brothers, Floyd, Robert, Albert Jr. (Red) Ballinger and 3 sisters, Edna Ety, Eudella Sheets and Francis Love. The family would especially like to thank her caregiver, Carol Kempton, who was a valuable companion and friend to Lois during the last year of her life.
