She moved from the farm to Good Samaritan Village in September 2010. Lois was a farm wife and homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and reading, especially cookbooks. She loved getting manicures, car trips with her daughters and taking care of her family. She is survived by her children, Patricia Hammer, Hastings, Lisa Hammer (Martin Wisneski), Topeka, KS; Grandchildren, Chris Hammer (Laura), Bladen, Tami Hottenstein (Dave), Pflugerville, TX, Brandon Jones (Amber), Hastings and Bryce Jones, Holstein, great grandchildren, Nicolle Hammer, Max Hammer, Sam Hammer, Trajan Hottenstein, Kendal Jones and Kaley Jones, great niece, Linda Wengler, Blue Hill, nieces and nephews, Norma Jean Robirds, Phyllis Gilmore (Ron), Don Lang, Rodney Lang (Joyce), Nancy Bierman (Eldon), Carol Lower (Dennis), Gene McNair (Betty), Voncelle Osterman (Art), Sharen Schuchman, Lanny Lang, Lanna Smith (Ted), Jerry Lang (Janine), Lester Shaw (Cheryl), Charles “Butch” Shaw (Linda), Russell Shaw, Doug Joynt (Linda), Pam Joynt, Randy Lewis, Bert Lewis, Clayton Lewis and Arrolla Wagner (Kevin). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, son Dennis, three brothers, five sisters, all her brothers and sisters-in-law and niece Darlene Wengler.
