Predeceased by her husband Bill Porter, parents: Bert & Sara (nee Matheson) Warren, brother: Archie Warren and sister-in-law: Margaret Warren. Lois was born on August 19, 1919 in Picture Butte, where she was also raised. October 27, 1939 she married William (Bill) Porter of Taber and moved there. Predeceased by her husband Bill Porter, parents: Bert & Sara (nee Matheson) Warren, brother: Archie Warren and sister-in-law: Margaret Warren. Lois was born on August 19, 1919 in Picture Butte, where she was also raised. October 27, 1939 she married William (Bill) Porter of Taber and moved there. After many moves, they settled down in Lethbridge in 1945 and resided there for twenty four becoming an active member of the First Baptist Church. In 1969 they moved to Vauxhall where they owned and operated Warren-Porter Agencies. She transferred her church membership to the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church. For six years Lois served on the Vauxhall Town Council, three of which she served as mayor. Burial service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
