Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the United Church of Christ at Hudson, The Rev. Rodger Kube officiated. Burial was in the Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden under direction of the VanDeMore Funeral home of Hudson. Mrs. Emmers, the former Lois Finnie, was born June 24, 1924, at Hawarden. She was married Dec. 23, 1943. She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Sioux City and in Hawarden. Survivors include the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Carol)Breugem of Minneapolis, Minn; one son, Steve of Sioux Falls; one Grandchild; two brothers, Robert T. of Lakewood, Calif. and Gene of Desert Hot Spring, Calif.; and two sisters Mrs. S.E.Ellis of Hiawatha, Iowa and Mrs. Harriet Smith of Merced, Calif.
