Description	:	Lois Eleanor Neff, age 99, of Clarence, MO passed away Tuesday morning, October 6, 2015 at the Salt River Community Care in Shelbina, MO. Eleanor was born in Shelbyville, MO on August 10, 1916 the daughter of Andrew Jackson (A.J.) and Lula Patience McVey Neff. Eleanor graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1934. She worked many years for the U.S. Railroad in Tampa, FL before returning to Shelby County in 1992. Eleanor enjoyed traveling and she traveled the world. Read More	Lois Eleanor Neff, age 99, of Clarence, MO passed away Tuesday morning, October 6, 2015 at the Salt River Community Care in Shelbina, MO. Eleanor was born in Shelbyville, MO on August 10, 1916 the daughter of Andrew Jackson (A.J.) and Lula Patience McVey Neff. Eleanor graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1934. She worked many years for the U.S. Railroad in Tampa, FL before returning to Shelby County in 1992. Eleanor enjoyed traveling and she traveled the world. Of the many countries she visited, Switzerland was her favorite. She loved the Lord, and looked forward to attending weekly Bible Study and felt blessed to have had the opportunity to visit the Holy Lands. Eleanor also loved people and they loved her which was evident by her many friends including those special friends who cared for her at Salt River Community Care. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Nellie Maude Thurman and brothers Weldon and Fred Neff. Lois Eleanor Neff was such a wonderful and caring lady who loved life! She will be truly missed by all who knew her, especially her family and friends. It was Eleanor’s wishes to donate her body to science. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Shelby Memorial Cemetery in Shelbyville, MO. Memorials may be made to Salt River Community Care or Shelby County Historical Society.
