Description	:	Lois E. Bromiley, 90, East Wenatchee, went home to be with the Lord and loved ones on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998, at her home on Badger Mountain surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 11, 1908, to John R. and Estelle (Richmond) Carmichael in Fall City. Lois received her education at Fall City and attended Wenatchee Business College. She married Frank W. Bromiley on Nov. 24, 1928, at Fall City. They settled and homesteaded on Badger Mountain in 1928. She was born on April 11, 1908, to John R. and Estelle (Richmond) Carmichael in Fall City. Lois received her education at Fall City and attended Wenatchee Business College. She married Frank W. Bromiley on Nov. 24, 1928, at Fall City. They settled and homesteaded on Badger Mountain in 1928. Lois was very instrumental in getting the school bus for Badger Mountain to help transport children to East Wenatchee schools. During her working career, she worked for the East Wenatchee School District as a cook. For the majority of her career, she was a bookkeeper and worked for Western Farmers and KUEN Radio. Lois was a member and actively participated in the Badger Mountain Grange. She was a charter member of the Badger Mountain Ladies Club, of which she was a member for 50 years. She was a member of the Reorganized LDS Church in East Wenatchee. She was a very devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and foster mother to children in need. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lois is survived by six daughters, Harriett Erb of East Wenatchee, Shirley Smith of White Salmon, Esther Loranger of East Wenatchee, Betty Hylton of Everett, Leah Myers of Woodinville and Sylvia Chapman of East Wenatchee; three sons, John Bromiley of Mattawa, Stanley "Pete" Bromiley of Wenatchee and Frank W. Bromiley of Hewitt, Texas; numerous granddaughters and grandsons, Gene Erb Jr., George Erb, Susan Cunning, Diane Gould, Shellie Currier, Shaylene Smith, Cynthia Loranger, Steve Loranger, Wayne Loranger, Catherine Mazzega, Christine Krause, Bruce Loranger, John Loranger, Sheri Loranger, Teresa Heinz, Randy Hylton, Keith Hylton, Katie Cooley, Christine Fillman, Stanley Bromiley II, Gary Bromiley, Craig Bromiley, Pamela Bromiley, Michelle Wood, Janee Bromiley, Byron Bromiley LeeAnn Bratton, Cheryl Treat and Amy Dilley; 58 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; six sons-in-law; three daughters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, three sisters, one brother, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Jones and Jones Funeral Directors, Wenatchee.
