Description	:	Lois Evelyn Pridemore, of Goodman, Missouri, daughter of the late James Alvin and Cana (Brooks) Moss, was born on July 13, 1911 in Princeton, Missouri. She departed this life on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at the Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri, at the age of ninety-five years. Lois was raised on the family farm in Redfield, Iowa and attended the Redfield consolidated schools. On December 6, 1930 in Guthrie Center, Iowa she was united in marriage to Stanley A. Lois was raised on the family farm in Redfield, Iowa and attended the Redfield consolidated schools. On December 6, 1930 in Guthrie Center, Iowa she was united in marriage to Stanley A. Pridemore and to this union two sons and four daughters were born. The family made their home in Iowa, Oklahoma and Texas before purchasing a farm in Goodman, Missouri in 1950. After Stanley's untimely death in 1955, Lois continued to farm and lovingly raised their children. Lois' life was her children and farm; she took great joy in toiling over both. Some of her favorite things to do around the farm were: milking the cows, crocheting, gardening and tending to her flowers. Lois took great pride in doing the simple things, and her wonderful touch could be seen in all she loved. Her caring and quiet ways will be remembered forever. Lois will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley A. Pridemore on November 19, 1955; a daughter, Betty Woodard; a son, Lewis Pridemore; four grandsons, Arthur Wayne Pridemore, Houston Owen Pridemore, David Hines and Timothy Hines; and a brother, Vernie Moss. Lois is survived by three daughters, Rose Hines and husband, Kenneth, of Goodman, Missouri, Opal Oberlechner and husband, Joe, of Asbury, Missouri and Carol Coe and husband, Roger, of Goodman, Missouri; a son, Dale Pridemore and wife, Delaina, of Tiff City, Missouri; twenty-three grandchildren; several great and great, great grandchildren and step grandchildren; a sister Pansey Leib of the state of Iowa; as well as a host of other family and friends. ∼Additional info kindly provided by contributor USMCdaughter
