Lois was born Jan. 31, 1932 in Madison, to Roy and Adeline (Ladd) Billing. She attended Madison schools graduating from Madison High School with the class of 1950. Thebarge 81, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Forest Hill Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center in Fort Kent. Lois was born Jan. 31, 1932 in Madison, to Roy and Adeline (Ladd) Billing. She attended Madison schools graduating from Madison High School with the class of 1950. On Sept. 2, 1950, Lois was married to Ernest A. Thebarge. She and her husband lived in Orono until 1954, moved to Madison in 1954, where they lived until 1955, when they moved to Bangor. In 1964, they moved to Houlton and to Fort Fairfield in 1968, retiring to Cross Lake in 1995. Lois had worked at the Fort Fairfield Housing Authority for 25 years. Lois was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Adams, Katherine Hilton and Beatrice Thebarge; and a brother, Arnold Billing. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ernest A. Thebarge, of Cross Lake; her sons, Alan J. Thebarge, of Fort Fairfield, Mark R. Thebarge and his wife, Patricia, of Daton, Gary E. Thebarge and his wife, Jeannie, of Biddeford, Scott M. Thebarge and his companion, Karan Johnson, of Fort Fairfield, John D. Thebarge and his wife, Laurie of Old Town, and Paul F. Thebarge and companion Tammy Bickford, of Buxton; a brother, Kenneth Billing, and wife Linda, of Madison; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be later in the spring in St. Sebastian Cemetery in Madison. (Morning Sentinel 12/31/2013)
