Description	:	Lois Jeanne (Colver) Burgett went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 25, 2008, with her two loving children by her side. Lois was born October 3, 1941, in the Boyd District area of Chelan to Howard and Ella (Bonwell) Colver. She grew up in Chelan and graduated from Chelan High School in 1959. Read More	Lois Jeanne (Colver) Burgett went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 25, 2008, with her two loving children by her side. Lois was born October 3, 1941, in the Boyd District area of Chelan to Howard and Ella (Bonwell) Colver. She grew up in Chelan and graduated from Chelan High School in 1959. She worked part time at the Ruby Theatre during her high school years and after graduation, went to work for General Telephone. Lois moved to Olympia in April 1960, with her classmate and friend, Sharon Cox Tipton. In October 1962, she married Robert R. Burgett. They made their home in Federal Way, WA, while both worked for Boeing Co. The first of their two daughters, Katrina Jeanne Burgett, was born in 1964. Their second daughter, Karissa Mary Burgett, was born in 1966. After moving to Wenatchee in 1968, a son was stillborn in 1969. Kurtis Robert Burgett was born in 1974. Lois worked for 23 years, as a secretary for Scott and Dennis Johnson's real estate company, which later became Pacific Appraisal Associates. She retired in December 2004. To all who knew her, Lois was a courageous, graceful woman. Through all of life's ups and downs, she kept her beautiful smile and positive attitude. She touched so many lives through her kindness and her soft, loving personality. She was a wonderful mother who gave so much to provide for her children and to give them everything she could. Lois had such a witty, quick sense of humor. All the way up to her last days, she kept us all laughing and smiling. Lois enjoyed camping, traveling and spending as much time with her family as possible. She loved quiet evenings doing puzzles, reading books or relaxing with a movie and some popcorn. She will be remembered as an amazing woman and her testimony and faith in her final days, will touch many lives and be remembered for years to come. Lois' life verse was, "For I know the plans I have for you,04546495 declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11. Survivors of a close and loving family include her two children, Katrina and Kurtis; and three sisters, Joyce Ann (Robert) Lathrop and Ella Marie (Albert) Christoph of Wenatchee and Sharon (Gerald) Riste of Culver, OR. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, as well as close friends, co-workers, and her church family. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ella; one sister, Maxine (Colver) Hastings; and two children, Karissa and her stillborn son. Services by Telford's Chapel of the Valley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2008, at East Wenatchee First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serve Wenatchee Valley.
