Description	:	ALBEMARLE -- Lois L. Hudson went to be with the Lord, with the blessings of her family on Oct. 22nd, 2002. Mrs. Hudson was born Nov. 22nd, 1933 in Albemarle to the late W. A. and Rosa Lee Mann Lowder. She retired as Office Manager of C. L. Vickers Transfer. Mrs. Hudson was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and found great pleasure in spending time with her family. Her family was her life. Hudson went to be with the Lord, with the blessings of her family on Oct. 22nd, 2002. Mrs. Hudson was born Nov. 22nd, 1933 in Albemarle to the late W. A. and Rosa Lee Mann Lowder. She retired as Office Manager of C. L. Vickers Transfer. Mrs. Hudson was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and found great pleasure in spending time with her family. Her family was her life. Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Hudson of the home. She is also survived by two sons, Bruce E. Hudson and Steve H. Hudson, both of Albemarle; two daughters Jenell H. Brewer of Raleigh, NC and Ellen Lorene Hudson of Six Mile, SC; a brother, Horace Lowder of Albemarle; and was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Lorene Lowder. Mrs. Hudson leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Jason, Travis, and Alex Ratterree of Raleigh and Nathan, Clay, Alec, and Joshua Hudson of Albemarle. The family received friends at Stanly Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle or to Main Street United Methodist Church Family Life Center, PO Box 1255, Albemarle, NC. Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday Oct. 24th, 2002 at Main Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Rorie officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Section of Fairview Memorial Park. Stanly Funeral Home is serving the Hudson family. Obituary published in The Charlotte Observer on Oct 24, 2002.
