Lois, daughter of Leo L. and Mary Katherine (Schneider) Strong was born July 14, 1944 at her family's home in Neligh, NE. Lois was baptized, received her first communion and was confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin, NE. She attended Neligh (NE.) Public School and graduated from Neligh (NE.) Lois, daughter of Leo L. and Mary Katherine (Schneider) Strong was born July 14, 1944 at her family's home in Neligh, NE. Lois was baptized, received her first communion and was confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin, NE. She attended Neligh (NE.) Public School and graduated from Neligh (NE.) High School in 1962. On June 1, 1964, Lois was united in marriage to James Raymond Riedmiller at St. Francis Catholic Church in Neligh, NE. They lived in several towns in Nebraska before making their home in Elgin, NE. where they raised their family. They owned and operated the Albion Lockers in Albion, NE., where Lois worked as the bookkeeper, and in 1992 they moved to Albion, NE. Lois retired in 2008 following the sale of their business. Lois enjoyed puzzles, game shows, camping, fishing with her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church of Elgin, NE., St. Boniface Christian Mother's and later St. Michael Catholic Church in Albion, NE. Lois is survived by: husband James "Jim" Reidmiller of Albion, NE.; daughters: Pamela (Calvin) Heithoff of Elgin, NE. and Shelli (Brian) Swerczek of Cedar Rapids, NE.; grandchildren: Jessica and Andrew Heithoff of Elgin, NE. and Riley and Lane Swerczek of Cedar Rapids, NE.; brothers: Leon (Mary) Strong of Oakdale, NE. and Larry (Barb) Strong of Meadow Grove, NE.; sisters, Sharlene Arehart of Neligh, NE., Sandy Wright of Page, NE. and Carol Mumm of Fremont, NE. and a host of relatives and friends. Lois was preceded in death by: parents, brother Merle Strong, and sister Beverly Coover. Interment was in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Elgin, NE.
