Burial will be at Ames Municipal Cemetery. Lois was born October 7, 1931 in Ames, Iowa the daughter of Albert R. and Josephine Warren. She graduated from Ames High School in 1948. Lois married Archie Anderson, on June 6, 1948 in Ames, he preceded her in death in 2005. She worked for several years at Montgomery Ward Dept. Store and later at J.C. Pennys while running her sewing business from her home. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Calvary United Methodist Church where she was involved as a Sunday School Teacher, different church circles over the years and self-appointed church historian always ready with a camera at many events. Her children are very thankful for their mother's love and support through the years. Lois is survived by her children, Carl (Deb) Anderson, Sharon (Denzil) Acuff, Glen (Mitzi) Anderson, 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, sister, Margaret Scott (John), sisters-in-law, Betty Weise, Elsie Spaid, Sarah Anderson and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie, daughter, Carol Spencer, her parents, brothers, Roy and Allan Warren, and a great granddaughter.
