Description	:	Lois Mae Sibenaller, daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth (Grossman) Brinker was born January 1, 1933 in Carroll, Iowa. She baptized and confirmed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel, Iowa. She graduated High School and attended American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. On June 9, 1956, Lois was united in marriage to Eugene Sibenaller at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. They became parents to six children: Kay, Gary, Tammy, Rhonda, Perry and Mary. She baptized and confirmed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel, Iowa. She graduated High School and attended American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. On June 9, 1956, Lois was united in marriage to Eugene Sibenaller at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. They became parents to six children: Kay, Gary, Tammy, Rhonda, Perry and Mary. Lois worked in the Carroll County Recorder Office. She also spent time being a homemaker. In 1963, Lois and Eugene moved to Earling, Iowa where they became active members at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and in the community. Lois served for fifty plus years as a member of Catholic Daughters of St. Catherine. Lois and Eugene enjoyed fishing trips to Canada with friends, making the trip annually for many years. She also enjoyed spending time baking, cooking, entertaining family and friends and playing cards. Lois died surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, attaining the age eighty-four years and two months. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Mary; 5 grandchildren Matt Schechinger, Rose Schechinger, twins Adam and Andrew Sibenaller, Megan Powers; and brothers Luverne and Lynn. She is survived by her children Kay and her husband Tom Schechinger of Westphalia, Iowa; Gary Sibenaller of Santa Rosa, California; Tammy and her husband Toby Hastert of Westphalia, Iowa; Rhonda and her husband Frank Powers of Defiance, Iowa; Perry Sibenaller and his wife Susie of Overland Park, Kansas; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Darryl Brinker and his wife Janet of Champlin, Minnesota; sisters Jerrine Brinker of Weston, Wisconsin; Mary Jo Brinker of Weston, Wisconsin; sisters-in-law Angie Brinker of Carroll, Iowa; Gayle Brinker of Santa Rosa, California, nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
