Description	:	Lois Ingle, age 78, of rural Cavour, died Thursday, October 1, 2009, at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home. Her funeral service was Monday, October 5th at 1:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Crippen officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery. Her family prefers memorials which will be given to scholarship funds. Lois Mae Schneiderman was born July 3, 1931, to Merle and Mable (Eddy) Schneiderman at the Sprague Hospital in Huron. She spent her early years on the family farm near Alpena. Lois went to grade school at the Grace (also known as the Kline) Country School until the age of 10, when her family moved to Woonsocket. She continued her education there and graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1949. Lois moved to Huron and worked for the Holly Ward Insurance Agency and as a bookkeeper for Fairmont Foods. On April 18, 1951, Lois married Robert Ingle at the Methodist Church in Woonsocket. They resided on their farm south of Cavour until Robert left for two years of service in the United States Army. They returned to the family farm and Lois began work as a secretary at the Bureau of Reclamation for several years in addition to being a homemaker and helping with the farm. Lois always maintained an active lifestyle until the very end. She was always busy taking care of her family, running errands for the farm and getting two children to 4-H, band, debate, dance class and other activities. In 1983, Lois and Robert started Pearl View Seeds, Inc. She became president and took care of the bookkeeping and whatever else she could help with. Lois was a member of the Western Seed Trade Association and the Wild Bird Feeding Institute. She enjoyed meeting seed and bird food processors from all over the United States. Lois was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Huron for over 50 years. She was active in UMW and women's circle, bell choir and sang in the choir. There were several other organizations besides the church that were very dear to her over the years. Lois was a member and officer of the Huron chapter of Altrusa International and especially cherished their community programs. She loved all kinds of flowers and plants and was a member of the Fair City Garden Club for many years. As a member of the Dakota Images art group, Lois was able to express her artistic side through stained glass and oil painting. The International Flying Farmers offered many opportunities for Lois to meet and befriend agribusiness people from all over North and Central America. She learned to fly and soloed the Aeronca Champ as well as copiloted for Robert in their travels with family and friends all over the continent for 50 years. Lois also helped plan several conventions and tours to the great delight of those who attended. She also enjoyed the outdoors and such things as sunsets, wild birds, snowmobiling, hunting and especially fishing. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Robert of Cavour; her son, Scott and his wife, Sharon Ingle of Cavour; her daughter, Beth and her husband, Jim Mathias of Olathe, Kansas; one grandson, Marc Mathias of Olathe, Kansas; one sister, Donna and her husband, Tom Morse of Huron; one sister-in-law, Carol Jo and her husband, Larry Graf of Delaware; and many loving nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Merle in 1976, and Mable Schneiderman in 1998.
