Description	:	The funeral for Lois Marjorie Brattin, 82, of Kiowa, Kan., was Saturday at United Methodist Church, Kiowa. The Rev. Wayne Stephens officiated. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Kiowa. She was born Jan. 23, 1924, in Andale, Kan., to Edward B. and Faye Waller Albers and died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at Kiowa Hospital District Manor. She was born Jan. 23, 1924, in Andale, Kan., to Edward B. and Faye Waller Albers and died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at Kiowa Hospital District Manor. She grew up in the Kiowa area, graduating from high school in Anthony, Kan. She moved to Wichita, Kan., and graduated from Wichita Business College. She married Charley Franklin Brattin June 25, 1945. Following his discharge from the Army they made their home in Kiowa. She was a homemaker, a caregiver and owned and operated the Sweet Shop, Luncheonette and Kiowa Supper Club in the 1950s and 1960s. She worked for Kiowa Service Co. 18 years, retiring in 1998. Surviving are her children, Janis Reida of Wichita, Jeanne Ann Combrink of Katy, Texas, and Craig Brattin of Kiowa; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley, and two sisters.
