Description	:	Lois was the daughter of Peter Massure (Massuere) and Hannah Card. In Oct 1803 she married John Blake, son of Elisha Blake and Mary Saunders. Their children born in Percy were Alice, Lois, Hannah, John, William, Marcia Elizabeth, Abigail, Mary S, Dulcina, Elisha, Marsha Eliza, Lois Ann, Fannie Salome, George Saunders, and Sarah Jane. They... Read More	Lois was the daughter of Peter Massure (Massuere) and Hannah Card. In Oct 1803 she married John Blake, son of Elisha Blake and Mary Saunders. Their children born in Percy were Alice, Lois, Hannah, John, William, Marcia Elizabeth, Abigail, Mary S, Dulcina, Elisha, Marsha Eliza, Lois Ann, Fannie Salome, George Saunders, and Sarah Jane. These 15 children were listed in the Stark History 1774-1974 bicentennial book. I have found the deaths/burials for all of them except: Mary S. (Blake) Henson, 2nd wife of Richard Henson of England. They married Sep 12, 1843, probably in NH. They had a son, John B. Henson, about 1844. Mary died on Jan 15, 1847, possibly in Colebrook. Mary was either buried in Colebrook or here in Blake cemetery, on their farm in Stark, NH. On Nov 3, 1847 in Columbia, NH her husband Richard married Fannie C. Butler. They are both buried in Colebrook Village. Mary's son died in 1926 and is buried in Northumberland Cemetery. Age: 87yrs Cause of Death: Pneumonia NOTE: This was the family farm private cemetery. All of their children who died young are here, but with no stones today. There were missing stones, broken stones and at least one destroyed child's stone in this cemetery that was unreadable. There is a row of four graves just below John & Lois marked only with fieldstones. Three of these would be their children Marcia Elizabeth Blake (1814-1822), Lois Blake (1807-1809), and Elisha Blake (1820-1822). The fourth grave very possibly could be their daughter Mary S. (Blake) Henson, who died a year or so after the birth of her son (1817-1847).
