Description	:	SHEFFIELD - Lola E. Lowe, 91, died Monday (Aug. 26, 2002) at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. A time of sharing service will be held at noon today at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania, Mason City, with the Rev. Kent A. Mechler, Zion-St. John Lutheran Church, Sheffield, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service today at the funeral home. Lola was born June 23, 1911, northwest of Ventura, the daughter of Herman and Clara (Lade) Grell. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church, Ventura. She attended school in Ventura and graduated from Mason City High School. She married Everett Gerard Feb. 18, 1942, in Austin, Minn. He died in 1972. Lola worked as a machine operator for 27 years at Mode O'Day retiring in 1985. She married Harley Lowe Aug. 19, 1977, in Jackson, Minn. He died in 1987. Lola enjoyed gardening, crocheting and reading. She is survived by five nephews, Dr. Jack Geistlinger and his wife, Judy, of Napa, Calif., James A. Grell and his wife, Ruth, of Florida; Donald Grell and his wife, Cheri, of North Carolina, Robert Grell and his wife, Bobbie, of North Carolina, and Ronald Grell of Missouri; and several cousins and other relatives. Lola was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; three brothers, Norman, Alvin and Edwin; and one sister, Leona. Major Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, (641) 423-0924.
