Description	:	Lola Mardean Junge Bossler, 94, died Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center following an extended illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 10, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van Horne with Father Craig Steimel as Celebrant. The Casket will not be present at the church on Monday. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery near Van Horne. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., on Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone. A Memorial fund has been established. ... Lola was born May 7, 1922 at Keystone to Peter N. and Hilda (Seeck) Junge. On May 21, 1941, she was united in marriage to Loren J. Bossler at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van Horne. The couple farmed in the Van Horne area. Loren preceded her in death in 2000. A member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lola served on the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a founding member of the Van Horne Community Club, a Charter member of Tara Hills Country Club, served on the Board of National Management Housing, and was a member of the Van Horne City Council and also served as Mayor for two terms. She also belonged to the Red Hat Ladies. She is survived by her son, Ron (Kathy) Bossler of Vinton; her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Bossler of Aurora, Illinois; her grandsons, Troy (Meredith) Bossler of Oswego, IL, Dr. Aaron (Jeff Sears) Bossler of Iowa City, Eric (Lynette)Bossler of Van Horne, and Adam Bossler of Van Horne; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Hannah and Garrett Bossler, Eli Bossler Sears, Morgan, Dylan, Colton and Courtney Bossler; her brother, Corley (Hazel) Junge of Keystone; her sisters, Marlys Papesh of Clutier, Betty Kapucian of Keystone, Helen Jurgens of Keystone, Mariann (Dilly) Fay of Victor, Janice (Delf) Sievers of Keystone and Shirley Peters of Keystone; and her special friend, Mary O’Brien of Van Horne. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Bossler in 2007; and her brothers-in-law, Leonard Papesh, Louis Kapucian and Jr. Jurgens. The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to Hospice Compassus and Keystone Care Center for the excellent care Lola received.
