She was born in Vernon township where she grew to manhood(err). When a young woman she united with the Story Chapel M.E. church and was a loyal member. Read More	**Handwritten: KEO REP 6 AUG 1936 Mrs. John O'Day Lola Ann Story, eldest child of John and Malinda Story, was born September 7, 1871 and departed this life at the Graham hospital in Keokuk on Tuesday morning, July 14, 1936 at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 7 days. She was born in Vernon township where she grew to manhood(err). When a young woman she united with the Story Chapel M.E. church and was a loyal member. On March 3, 1920 she was united in marriage to John O'Day. They located near Williamstown, Mo. where she made her home until the death of her husband on February 4, 1923. She then returned to make her home with her mother and brother, Ralph. On March 2, 1928 her mother passed away. Since that time she has made her home with Ralph. She was a constant companion and helper of Ralph during the remaining years of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, farther, mother, two sisters who died in infancy; and her brother, Rannie. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Retta House, three brothers, Ralph, Edgar and Guy, all of Bonaparte. Also by four nephews, six nieces and a host of friends and relatives. She was a ever loving sister, good neighbor and friend. Funeral services were held in the Story chapel Methodist church Thursday at 9 a.m. and were conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Harvey E. Butler.
