Description	:	Lola (Harvey) Edge, 98, of Stewarts Landing, formerly of Wellford, died Thursday, February 7, 2008, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 24, 1909, in the Mt. Zion community of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Corrie (Cathcart) Harvey and the wife of the late William Loyd Edge. She was the oldest member of Jackson Baptist Church, a good neighbor, and always willing to help those that were in need. Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen F. Zion community of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Corrie (Cathcart) Harvey and the wife of the late William Loyd Edge. Bishop and her husband Prentice (Pat), and Shirley Potter and her husband Ned, all of Cowpens; a sister, Lucille Mitchell of Inman; five grandchildren, James Effler and his wife Evelyn, John Effler, Darren Fletcher and his wife Lisa, Carole DelValle, and Christopher Potter and his wife Kym; nine great-grandchildren, Jonathan Fletcher, Autumn Berryhill, Theron Nalley, Casey Effler, Anne Marie Effler, Kristin Effler, Carrie Hill, Dylan Potter, and Carlisle Potter; and four great-great-grandchildren, Austin Berryhill, Olivia Nalley, Kristen Louden, and Seth Hill. She was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Jo Effler. Visitation was held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2008, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Nazareth Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. James McMakin, the Rev. Ed Traxler, and the Rev. Leland Harvey. Burial was in the Church Cemetery. Following the committal, the family held a celebration of life reception in the Church Social Hall. Memorials could be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, Tree of Life, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
