Johnson-Stonacek Funeral Chapel of Norfolk is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Pichler was born Feb. 6, 1928, to Lloyd and Helen (Harvey) Pichler at Dumas. He retired in 1989. He was member of the United Methodist Church in Norfolk. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Carolyn (Mrs. Gerry) Schulz of Pilger; Patricia (Mrs. Jack) Ritter of Alton, Iowa, and Linda (Mrs. Bob) Woolsey of Stanton; a son, Jerry of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, Val and Larry, both of Grand Island. He was preceded in death by a grandson, four brothers and a sister.
