Rites were conducted by the Rev. J. A. Rogers, pastor of the Central Baptist church. Interment took place in the Mechanicsville Baptist church cemetery, near Darlington. Mr. Isgett was born and reared in Darlington county. He had lived in this section of the state all of his life. He had held a position with the Thomas-Howard wholesale grocery concern for sometime. He is survived by his widow, the former Miss Willanetta Smith, one daughter, Myrtle Phyllis. Surviving also are four brothers and two sisters: Arthur Isgett and Monroe Isgett of Darlington, Watson Isgett of Mars Bluff, Mrs. C. C. Kelley of Laurens, Mrs. Frank Atkinson of Hartsville. (note: only three of the four brothers are named in the obit)
