The Rev. Robert F. Cochran, pastor of the church, read scripture from Psalm 91 and St. John 14, offered a prayer, and gave a fitting and comforting talk, in which he emphasized the thoughts that "the most important part of a human being cannot be buried," and "we do not have to go through these experiences (of bereavement) alone, but Jesus goes with us." Read More	Loranza Boyd Lineberry Funeral services for Loranza Boyd Lineberry, 03, who died at his home on Eastview Street died Wednesday afternoon, August 14, were held at the First Baptist Church Friday at 2:30 p. m. The Rev. Robert F. Fonzi Pennington, Atlanta, Ga., who was directing the singing in a revival in progress at the church, sang "The Unclouded Day" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. L. S. Rudolph, church organist, was accompanist for the selections. Interment was in the cemetery at Gladeville Methodist Church. The body was removed to the residence from Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Thursday at 4:00 p. m., and was placed in the church one hour before the services. Boyd Lineberry, 63, died at his home in Galax, Wednesday, August 14. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nora Alice Lineberry; four daughters, Mrs. Parry Lee Worrell, Mrs. Alma Jones, Mrs. Obedia Rector and Miss Alice Lou Lineberry, all of Galax; two sons, Joseph C. Lineberry, Warwick and Roy B. Lineberry, Galax; a sister, Mrs. Delia Dalton, Hillsville; three half sisters,Mrs. Maude Martin, Miss Lollie Lineberry, Miss Margie Lineberry, all of Woodlawn; three half brothers, Garnet, Barnie and Richard Lineberry, all of Woodlawn; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral was August 16, at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Gladeville Methodist Cemetery. The Carroll News, Thursday, August 22, 1957
