Description	:	Great-Great-Great-GrandUncle Civil War, Company F, 32nd Regiment Iowa Infantry Nebraska State Journal June 13, 1910 Veteran Loren Button Dead Loren Button, aged seventy-six, died at his home, 2436 Vine Street, Sunday morning. The cause of his death was locomotor ataxia. He leaves a wife, five sons and two daughters. Two sons and one daughter reside in Lincoln. The funeral services will be held at the home at 3:30PM today, after which the body will be taken to Alden, Iowa for burial. Loren Button was born in Brookfield, Madison County, New York October 11, 1834. At an early age he moved with his parents to Iowa. On August 14, 1862, he enlisted in Company F of the Thirty-second Regiment, Iowa Infantry and served through the Civil War. He received an Honorable Discharge August 24, 1865 at Clinton, Iowa where he assisted in mustering out his regiment. He moved to Nebraska with his family twenty-five years ago. His life has been one of activity. At the time of his death he was a member of the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church and Belknap Post, GAR, Lincoln.
