Description	:	Loren was the son of the late Charles Dean and Anna (Perrin) Mann. Loren was raised near Pisgah and attended Pisgah High School. He joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country during WWII. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Pisgah, Iowa. Loren married Doris Outhouse on December 22, 1951, at the RLDS Church in Moorhead, Iowa. Loren did carpentry work with his father and brother, Ronnie and the couple farmed near Soldier for three years and then farmed near Woodbine. Loren was raised near Pisgah and attended Pisgah High School. He joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country during WWII. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Pisgah, Iowa. Loren married Doris Outhouse on December 22, 1951, at the RLDS Church in Moorhead, Iowa. Loren did carpentry work with his father and brother, Ronnie and the couple farmed near Soldier for three years and then farmed near Woodbine. Additionally, Loren worked for the county as a handyman and he would also mow lawns for the elderly that still lived in their homes. He also worked for Ralph Hammack driving a truck and taking care of the bee hives. Loren was a member of the Community of Christ. He enjoyed nature. He supported the Arbor Day Foundation and he enjoyed watching birds. He also enjoyed tending to everything on his farm. He drove the school bus for Woodbine and was a very hard worker. Loren also enjoyed reading and writing poetry. Loren was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He had a lifetime commitment of studying the scriptures. Loren died February 6, 2015, at the Rose Vista Nursing Home at the age of 89 years, one month and 30 days. Loren was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nola Chapman, brother, Jerald Mann; brothers-in-law, Leo Chapman, Lee Hardt and Bernard Plath; granddaughter, Danielle Faith Mann; and great grandson, Mason John Moores.
