Description	:	Loren E. Gillett, son of G.M. and Mary Ann Gillett, was born in Bedford, Ia., Nov 19, 1871, and died at the Lister hospital in Omaha, Neb., Tuesday December 30, 1919. The mother of deceased died very shorty after he was born, so he was taken into the home of Mr and Mrs John Liggett, and there reared to manhood. Gillett, son of G.M. and Mary Ann Gillett, was born in Bedford, Ia., Nov 19, 1871, and died at the Lister hospital in Omaha, Neb., Tuesday December 30, 1919. The mother of deceased died very shorty after he was born, so he was taken into the home of Mr and Mrs John Liggett, and there reared to manhood. While a boy he was converted and joined the Methodist church. On May 28, 1902, he was united in marriage to Miss Emma May Cornell of Fairfield. To this union was born one son Geo Russell. Three weeks after the birth of their son, Mrs Gillett passed away. Our friend is survived by this son, one sister, Mrs Jennie Glassmann, and one brother, Henry Gillett of New Market. The bereaved have our most sincere sympathy in this hour of their sorrow. The body was brought here Thursday and services were held in the M.E. church, conducted by Rev Wilson.
