Description	:	Loren Eugene Brown, Sr., "Tuff", age 87, passed away at his home on Saturday. Loren was born in Burlington, Iowa on December 27, 1922, to Harry and Eva M. (Slezak) Brown. Loren served his country in the US Navy from 1940 to 1946 and is a Pearl Harbor survivor. Tuff worked for 25 years as a welder for Fruehaf Trailer, retiring in 1987. His memberships included the American Legion Post 265 in Greenfield, Iowa, VFW Post 737, Council Bluffs and Pearl Harbor Survivors Association.
