Description	:	Lorene E. Weaver Kitts, 93, Kokomo, passed away at 9:12 PM Monday, January 28, 2013 at Northwoods Village. She was born November 7, 1919 in Jackson County, Indiana to the late Wayman and Hazel (Neff) Amos. She was a homemaker for many years, but had worked for Reliance from 1947 until 1949. She enjoyed playing Bingo; she also was very crafty, and loved to read. Surviving is her four daughters and three sons-in-law; Jeannie and Larry Hilligoss, Nancy and Lyle Miller, Sue Weaver, and Melba and Joe Moser, all of Kokomo, also surviving are many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.... She had two specials friends; Evelyn and Howard Burke, Kokomo. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Rita Riddle, two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, February 1, 2013 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street with Gary Ely officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM Thursday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be directed to either Open Arms or to the Kokomo Humane Society.
