Description	:	COWARD — Mrs. Lorene L. Anderson, 85, wife of the late William T. Anderson, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, in a Florence hospital. Mrs. Anderson was born in Effingham, a daughter of the late Nollie Matthews and Edith Brown Matthews Howell. She was an active member of Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. (Frances) Anderson of Coward; a sister, Lillie Floyd of Effingham; three grandchildren, Elaine (Will) Matthews, Debbie (Roy) Moore, Rodney (Dara) Anderson; two stepgrandchildren, Dennis (Tracie) Hicks, Brian (Angela) Hicks; seven great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and Betty Anderson, a very special friend. Mrs. Anderson was predeceased by her parents, Nollie and Edith Matthews Howell; her husband, William T. Anderson; and a sister, Eualee Yarborough. Memorials may be sent to Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund or Carolinas Hospice, P.O. Box 100550, Florence, SC 29501. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, in Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery. Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City, is in charge.
