Description	:	Yankton, SD, April 26, 1989 — Lorentine M. Sayler, 68 of Yankton, died Monday (April 24, 1989) at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Riverview Park Reformed Church in Yankton with the Rev. Harold Hiemstra officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Ray Funeral Chapel with prayer service at 8 p.m. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Sayler was born Nov. 8, 1920, at Menno to Christopher and Emma (Miller) Kost. She grew up in Menno and cared for her ailing mother, as well as her brothers and sisters at home. She married Wilbert Sayler Sept. 18, 1939 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Menno. The couple moved to Lesterville in 1940, where they operated their farm. In 1977, they moved to Yankton. Mrs. Sayler was employed by the South Dakota Human Services Center in Yankton. She was a member of the Riverview Park Reformed Church and the church guild. Survivors include: one son, Clyde, Yankton; one niece that she raised as a child, Pearl (Kost) Raabe, Richland, Wash.; two brothers, Alvin Kost, LaPuente, Calif. and Elmer Kost, El Monte, Calif.; one sister, Mildred Richie, Apple Valley, Calif. and two grandchildren.
